How Can We Help You?

To access any of the following support services please call +64 (0) 2727 18898 or complete the contact form.

Confidential Listening And Care

You may just want some one to talk to, to explore the pros and cons of support options or an empathetic ear for a confidential conversation. Whatever your issues and concerns, we are happy just to chat. In fact that’s what we prefer to do at first.. simply get to know you and for you to get to know us.

Intentional Peer Support – moving forward together

Take a peek at what peer support is about.

In our one on one sessions you will meet with our peer-workers. These are people who have their own experience of sexual abuse. They can help you plan a recovery pathway… a journey they will share with you.

You may also choose to participate in our peer support group meetings. These are regular meetings with other people who have experienced sexual abuse, a safe place to share your own experiences and to learn from other survivors. All meetings are professional facilitated by experienced peer workers.

Referrals For Specialist Support

Once we understand who you are and what you want to achieve, we can help you choose the most appropriate recovery pathway. We do not make choices for you… we hope to inform your choice. It may be appropriate to introduce you to counsellors or social workers. These are people that we choose to work with and who we trust to support you well.

Family and Whanau Support

In circumstances where you choose to involve others in your recovery journey, we can help with facilitating meetings with your partner, family/whanau, and supporters.

Advocacy in Any Area of Need as a Survivor

We are here to help you in anyway that we can, providing support for Court appearances, managing Police Safety Orders or helping with ACC Claims, are examples of what we are often involved with.
